We’re looking for a Senior Facilities Engineer to oversee and coordinate the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation, refrigeration, and other building systems within our distribution facility. You’ll perform systems evaluations on facilities and determine what installation or repair services need to be performed, manage a budget, and create calculations to ensure operational efficiencies. The Senior Engineer also assists in the hiring and training of workers, and arranges their schedules and work activities. Key deliverables include providing safe, effective, efficient, and responsive services to all areas of the business, covering facility, production, and security services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Documents building changes in electrical, plumbing, and compressed air.
- Documents office and equipment reconfigurations.
- Maintains current drawings of buildings, communications, site, and parking layouts.
- Maintains schedules for Facilities projects.
- Plans spaces for new employees.
- Tracks measurements for Facilities and Health and Safety.
- Assists Facilities Manager with day-to-day projects and special projects.
- Works on new building projects which require attending construction meetings and provides equipment and office layouts.
- May be required to travel to remote offices to work on space-related projects.
- Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies, and general duty of care.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information related to production processes and components, business, and other technology including materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (phone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.)
- Works in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing lab environment.
- Overtime may be necessary in times of increased demand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and deadline-focused.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English.
- Hands-on experience with PCs and related programs such as ACAD and Visio.
- Strong analytical skills and proven organizational ability and attention to detail are a must.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Explorer).
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 6+ years experience in related fields.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
- Experience in clean room, DI plant, washing machine maintenance is a priority.
- Experience in project management and people management.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electrical Automation or related field.
