Senior Executives (Audit)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Executives (Audit) to join the team at FOLKS DFK & CO & AZMAN, WONG, SALLEH & CO in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in the Audit team, providing high-quality auditing services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Performing comprehensive audits across a range of industries and clients (public listed and private limited companies).
• Gathering and analysing financial data to identify risks and provide actionable insights.
• Preparing detailed audit reports and communicating findings to clients.
• Performing assessment of the sufficiency and adequacy of internal controls and accounting records of an entity.
• Ensuring audit work is compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Performing financial due diligence review, agreed upon procedures or other related services.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must possess a degree in accounting or professional qualification that is recognised by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Those who are sitting for their final stage of professional examination (eg. ACCA or its equivalent) but with extensive audit experience can also apply.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, procedures and relevant accounting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn and improve on knowledge and skills.
