About the role

Join the growing team at LAGENDA PROPERTIES BERHAD as a Senior Executive, Treasury. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial management and support to the organisation. This role is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

1. Understand funding requirement and prepare/ review cash flow forecast.
2. Prepare financing requirement brief for sourcing of financing facilities/ debt funding.
3. Prepare, coordinate, compile, review all information and documentation required by financiers and ensure timely submission/ response.
4. Perform assessment of term sheets or options of financing facilities/ debt programs and prepare recommendation paper for approval.
5. Prepare, review and assist in the execution of financing facilities/ debt funding related documentation and agreements, ensuring timely drawdown and renewal of facilities, among others.
6. Manage bank facilities setup and termination, revision in facilities limit, collaterals for facilities, annual review by financiers.
7. Monitor all banking facilities/ debt financing facilities of the Group to ensure compliance with all banking terms, covenants and deadlines.
8. Prepare monthly treasury report with meaningful information and analysis, update on financing initiatives and tracking of bank covenants.
9. Focal point for all treasury and banking facilities related documents and information provided to financiers.
10. Establish/ maintain internal control measures and treasury related policies and SOPs, and ensure compliance with regulatory and financiers’ requirements.
11. Maintain professional relationship with banks, financiers, solicitors and any other internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of relevant experience in treasury or finance role, preferably in corporate treasury in property developer industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional treasury or accounting certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MIA) would be an advantage.
