Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

1. To ensure smooth and efficient operations of overall MTB, CP and SAT building during shift operation working hours.
2. To act on behalf of Terminal Manager during non-office hour and to liaise closely with Terminal Manager on any crisis/emergency cases.

Essential Position Functions

1. To lead the overall operations of MTB, CP, and SAT Building.
2. To coordinate with related agencies/units and ensure smooth flow of passengers.
3. To ensure all facilities are serviceable and well maintained.
4. To liaise with other agencies for any event/crisis/emergencies.
5. To supervise the performance of Terminal Operations staff which are under his/her jurisdictions.
6. To liaise with AODM on the overall status of the terminal.
7. To compile reports on operation and facilities.
8. To ensure the smooth flow of VVIP/VIP movement and provide assistance whichever is necessary.
9. To attend the meeting on behalf of Terminal Manager during his absence.
10. To monitor and manage the performance of the service contractors at the terminal and ensure they comply as per contract agreement.
11. To handle complaints or feedback in a professional manner.
12. To ensure Terminal Services files and documents comply with IMS requirements.
13. To perform any other duty as assigned.

Skills

1. Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
2. Ability to interact with all level and able to work in a group or individually.
3. Well established in management, coordination and communication skills.
4. Good knowledge in Worldwide Scheduling Guidelines, Standard Schedules Information Manual (SSIM) Chapter 6.
5. Familiar with Annexes /other airport regulations.
6. Establish and review the Standard Operating Procedures and working manual/instruction.

Relevant Industries

Internal

1. Degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience in Executive role.
2. Diploma with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Executive role.
3. STPM with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Executive role.
4. SPM with minimum 7 years relevant experience in Executive role.
5. Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C.
6. The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion.

External

1. Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 year relevant experience.

Education

Internal

1. Degree/Diploma/Certificate preferably in Airport Management / Transportation.
2. STPM.
3. SPM with Credit in Bahasa Malaysia and Pass in English and Mathematics.

External

1. Degree preferably in Airport Management / Transportation.
