SENIOR EXECUTIVE, SUSTAINABILITY

• Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports in compliance with frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD and Bursa Malaysia’s ESG reporting guidelines.
• Collect, analyze, and manage ESG-related data for internal and external reporting.
• Ensure timely submission of sustainability disclosures and reports to meet regulatory requirements.

Project Management:

• Coordinate and manage sustainability initiatives and projects from planning through execution and reporting stages.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Procurement, HR) to integrate sustainability into business operations.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and regulatory bodies, to support sustainability goals and initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international sustainability regulations, including Bursa Malaysia, NSRF, and industry-specific requirements.
• Keep up to date with changes in sustainability reporting standards and ensure the company remains compliant.

Data Collection and Analysis:

• Collect data related to environmental performance (e.g., energy use, carbon emissions) and social impact (e.g., community engagement, diversity).
• Analyze sustainability data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk.

Sustainability Initiative Support:

• Provide administrative and operational support for ongoing sustainability initiatives such as energy management projects, waste reduction programs, and social responsibility campaigns.
• Assist in preparing presentations and materials for board meetings, committees, and external stakeholders related to sustainability efforts.

Research and Best Practices:

• Conduct research on emerging sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices to improve the company’s sustainability performance.
• Benchmark against industry standards to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

Capacity Building and Training:

• Support the development of training programs for employees to build awareness and understanding of sustainability and ESG issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or related areas.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, TCFD, GHG Protocol and SASB.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting related to sustainability.
