Senior Executive, Strategic Planning, Investment

Job Overview:
The Senior Executive, Strategic Planning, Investment will be responsible for driving corporate strategic initiatives, conducting investment analysis, managing corporate communication efforts, and supporting the development of long-term plans for growth and profitability. This role requires close collaboration with senior management, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate goals, provide insights on market trends, and communicate the company’s strategies and achievements effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  1. Assist in the formulation of corporate strategies, business plans, and goals aligned with the company's vision and mission.
  2. Analyze internal performance and market trends to provide recommendations for improving business performance and expanding market share.

Investment Analysis:

  1. Assist in performing feasibility studies, financial modelling, and due diligence for potential investment projects.
  2. Assist in preparing detailed investment proposals and present findings to senior management.

Corporate Communication:

  1. Assist in developing and executing corporate communication strategies to enhance the company’s brand image, reputation, and relationships with stakeholders.
  2. Prepare and manage internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, annual reports, and other corporate publications.
  3. Coordinate and support events, conferences, and investor relations activities, ensuring clear and compelling communication of the company's goals and achievements.
  4. Manage communication channels (website, social media, etc.) to effectively convey key corporate updates and initiatives to stakeholders and the public.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, media, regulatory bodies, and business partners.

Ad Hoc Projects:

  1. Provide support on special projects related to strategic planning, investment opportunities, corporate communication, and corporate growth initiatives as assigned by superior/senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Corporate Communication, or a related field.
  2. Experience in strategic planning, investment analysis, corporate communication, or related fields.
  3. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  4. Graduates with experience of between 2-4 years will have added advantages.

Skills:

  1. Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  3. Proficient in Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, InDesign will be added advantages).
  4. Experience in managing media relations, corporate publications, and social media channels.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Strong problem-solving capabilities, a proactive mindset, and experience working with external stakeholders.
