Senior Executive - Project

Job Summary

The main duty is to assist and provide support to Project Manager/Head Of Project/Construction Manager of all engineering and architectural related issues from planning to implementation inclusive design and planning development, submission and Authority’s approval, pre, construction and post construction stage.

To diligently carry out all relevant policies, procedures and practices as defined in the QEMS, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and to be implemented in the department by this designation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting Deputy Project Manager/Project Manager in implementation Master Implementation Program & planning ahead for quarterly short implementation program related to project development stages.
2. Design, review and optimization of design prepared by Architects and C&S, M&E, Landscape consultants and make recommendation to Project Manager.
3. Managing the design consultants to ensure that all design quality, budget, time and quality issues of the project are met as required under the various design consultancy agreements.
4. Tracking and monitoring all C&S engineering, Architectural and M&E activities inclusive development of design, submission of drawings to Authorities, issuance of drawings, tender, contract and construction documentation and implementation.
5. Ensuring that proper coordinated design information is provided by the design consultants to the contractors for the timely completion of the project.
6. To follow up with authority’s approval in C&S engineering and infrastructure inclusive all necessary planning approval and other departmental and agencies approvals.
7. Interface with internal departments and consultants with regards to engineering, infrastructure operation and building management matters.
8. Assess and monitor construction work in accordance to design, drawings, specification, procedure and make compilation reporting to Project Manager.
9. To attend Client Consultant Meeting, Site Meeting, Implementation & Quality Control Meeting and all authorities’ related meeting and inspection as assigned by Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or Bachelor in Architectural or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Good working knowledge in C&S engineering, construction and Architectural. Technical and non-technical project management.
• Able to communicate with all levels, patient, hard-working, thinking forward, initiative and willing to learn.
• Speedy and timely decision maker.
• Takes responsibility for initiating necessary changes.
• Can make the tough decisions when necessary.
• Able to subordinate personal needs to team success.

Expected Minimum Years Of Experience

Minimum 6 year’s relevant experience with engineering consultant/real-estate investor.
