Responsibilities:

• Source and procure laboratory supplies, reagents, equipment, and services based on operational requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore new potential vendors.
• Conduct supplier performance assessments and resolve any supply chain issues.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Assist in audits and compliance checks related to procurement activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to manage procurement budgets effectively.
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive procurement strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the healthcare or laboratory industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
