SENIOR EXECUTIVE. PORT OPTIMIZATION & DATA ANALYTICS

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Accountable for participating in the pre-planning process, carrying out the new initiatives according to the plan, and guaranteeing the long-term success of the new implementation projects aimed at enhancing daily terminal operations.
2. Responsible for executing the implementation of Operations Kaizen/improvement as per plan.
3. Responsible for scheduling a meeting with the relevant business owner to follow up on all actions related to Kaizen implementation and sustainment, documenting it in the minutes of the meeting.
4. Responsible for identifying resources before Kaizen/improvement starts and fully utilizing the resources during project implementation.
5. Responsible for monitoring Kaizen/improvement performance to ensure progress follows the timeline and the implementations align with the objectives.
6. In charge of fostering a culture of Transformation (LEAN Academy & Culture) and increasing awareness to improve practices and processes to a superior level.
7. Responsible for conducting training or awareness sessions that address relevant Kaizen/improvement rollouts, new processes, or initiatives, especially for processes that require attention and critical areas.
8. Responsible for ensuring, guiding, and training all OPS functional teams in implementing the Operating System as outlined in the APMT guidelines.
9. Responsible for ensuring new operations initiatives comply with safety elements of the terminal.
10. To ensure project progress reports are updated.
11. Compiling TCO/GRI from the improvement projects/initiatives and updating with Finance Departments.
12. Responsible for updating the LEAN level 4 students progress tracker.
13. Responsible for engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure sustainability of the new process implementation and compliance.
14. Responsible for the implementation of Information Security (IS) and IT policies that reflect the organization's needs regarding the protection of information and assets and the integrity and privacy of the organization's intellectual property.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Possess at least a Diploma in any field or relevant.
2. Possess at least 3 years of experience in terminal operations or 2 years in a related field.
3. Fluency in English and local language, both written and spoken.
4. Good presentation and facilitation skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, able to focus on business impact and initiatives for new system implementation in accordance with terminal operations.
6. Ability to drive implementation of new initiatives.
7. Ability to communicate at all levels across the local organization and guide them towards implementation.
8. Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
9. Good workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to adapt to cultural differences.
10. Results-driven with strong analytical, practical, and problem-solving skill set.
11. Open-minded, positive attitude, and strong drive to succeed and break through barriers.
12. Ability to perceive situations from different perspectives.
13. Clear, persuasive, and collaborative communications & influencing skills.
