Job Description:

• Communicating with upper management to develop strategic operations goals.
• Planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling the overall work program within the framework provided for all regions.
• Monitoring operational performance.
• Developing strategic long-range plans to achieve strategic objectives.
• Organizing, supervising, training, disciplining, and appraising subordinates and operatives to achieve optimum productivity and work quality.
• Providing relevant training to subordinates and Machine Specialists.
• Supporting the Operating Unit Manager and Regional Management in ensuring that all operations comply with environment, safety & health (ESH) as well as statutory regulations.
• Monitoring and supervising the Regional Team in their mechanical application as instructed by the company according to the program and schedule.
• Liaising with Vendors/Suppliers for related machinery issues.
• Communicating with Operating Unit personnel and coordinating activities to ensure smooth and efficient operation with minimum disruption.
• Completing weekly and monthly reports.
• Coming up with new inventions or innovations for operational improvement (productivity improvement or cost reduction initiatives).

Job Requirements

• Preferably 4 - 5 years of working experience in mechanization/operation services or equivalent.
• Preferably experienced in Plantation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Operations / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
