Senior Executive - Marketing

Key Responsibilities

1. Lease out promotional spaces, pushcarts, pop up lots, and banquet hall.
2. Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.
3. Research and analyse sales options.
4. Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
5. Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
6. Collect and analyse information and prepare data and sales reports.
7. Build and maintain professional networks.
8. Meet with potential clients to determine their needs.
9. Responsible to manage and efficiently use of banquet hall to achieve maximum banquet revenue and profitability, including efforts to work with the banquet operators, caterers, event organizers, government bodies, associations, individual, etc.
10. Possess knowledge of banquet hall capacities, audio visual and any other pertinent details related to banquet hall set up.
11. To follow up the record for all inquiries, reservations and confirmed bookings, monitor/ trace on daily basis of all reservation and bookings made, wait list etc to ensure performance KPI achieved.
12. Prepare necessary correspondence to prospects, clients, existing banquet operator and business partners, etc, including but not limited to handle filing and miscellaneous as required.
13. Must be able to work during weekends and public holidays when required.
14. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
15. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

1. Diploma, Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Development or equivalent
2. At least 2 years of related experience
3. Experience in Casual Leasing and Banquet Sales is a plus
4. Competency in English and Malay. Mandarin is a plus
5. Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills
6. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
7. Ability to create and deliver presentations
8. Fast learner and quick thinker
9. Passionate about sales
10. Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment.
