Job description

The Manager will be the gatekeeper in the timeliness and accuracy of employee-related payments (including annual cycles). It is a primary role to review these payments and keep a systematic cycle to this. The Manager will collaborate with relevant departments, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve this objective. In day-to-day operations, the Manager will lead and supervise the HR Services members in managing and completing HR processes and systems to expected timelines and accuracy levels.

Managing multiple levels of stakeholders is essential. Most regular interactions will be with store operations, where HRS is the primary contact in HR matters with store managers in handling new hires, regular, and resigned employees. As relevant to your responsibility, you will take the lead in discussions and conclusions with other Department Managers, Directors, and Management to achieve HR and Company goals.

As a subject matter expert, you will take the lead in keeping up with employment regulations of the country and advise Management, executing relevant courses of action. You will attend to the latest trends in HR practices that may influence our position as an employer of choice for high talents in retail. You are also empowered to represent the Company in attending to Government labor officers and internal regulators (meetings/audits/visits).

As an HR strategist, you will work with the HR Director, Global HR, other HR Managers, Management, and other Departments in the annual and midterm plans/projects to achieve the company's mid-long-term goals. This includes the review of hygiene factors, necessary frameworks, specific schemes to targeted groups, and systems to be in place.
