Senior Executive, Human Resource- Training & Development

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive, Human Resource- Training & Development to join the team at Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn Bhd in Bintulu Sarawak. This full-time position will be responsible for overseeing the company's training and development initiatives, ensuring employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, implementing and evaluating training programmes to address the company's skill gaps and development needs
• Collaborating with business leaders to identify training requirements and align learning initiatives with organisational objectives
• Developing and delivering engaging training content, including workshops, e-learning modules and on-the-job training
• Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of training programmes, making adjustments as needed
• Providing coaching and mentoring support to employees to facilitate their professional growth
• Maintaining training records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies
• Promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the organisation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar training and development role, ideally within the human resources or learning and development function
• Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programmes that drive employee engagement and performance
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to create innovative, interactive training content
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
• Proficient in needs analysis, programme evaluation and data-driven decision making
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field
