- Responsible to assist the Manager of Human Resources for day-to-day human resources activities.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
- Ensure rules and regulations of the organization are followed by all employees.
- Act as a representative of social compliance in the organization and ensure compliance with all requirements.
- Maintain human resources staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, and monitoring.
- Ensure human resources personnel clearly brief plant rules and regulations.
- Work closely with the Head of Department regarding manpower planning for both local and foreign workers.
- Attend management meetings, especially relating to employee management.
- Carry out any other roles & responsibilities as assigned by management and comply with procedures.
- Responsible for the Company’s Policies and Quality Management System (QMS).
- Responsible for Safety’s Policies and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS).
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience.
- Knowledgeable in Human Resource Management, Employment Act, and Social Compliance.
- Initiative, motivated, and committed; able to work independently.
- Able to lead & train subordinates by example.

Wear Safe (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (WSM) was acquired by KOSSAN in 2003. WSM started its operation in Port Klang with 5 dipping latex surgical glove lines. In 2007, WSM was relocated to a new plant at Jalan Meru, Klang with a centralized sterile packing location and enhanced production lines with a capacity of 8 million pairs of surgical gloves per month.
With a growing market demand, KOSSAN invested in another WSM plant in Jalan Meru in 2013. The plant was commissioned with 9 new production lines with a monthly capacity of more than 31.5 million pairs of surgical gloves. The plant has obtained ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 13485:2012 Quality Management System (QMS), and CMDR and ISO Class 8 in 2013.
As of today, there are more than 400 well-trained employees at WSM. With the advent of Information Technology, KOSSAN has embraced and employed new technologies to cultivate a knowledge-based workforce and to promote better communications with all relevant parties.
