- Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of marketing initiatives/activities for local and international level.
- Assist in development of marketing materials for Hospital services such as brochures, pamphlets, flyers & write up etc.
- Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials and development of such materials.
- Develop excellent networking with all stakeholders (internal & external).
- Generation of new business database.
- To identify and develop strategies for new business opportunities for local and international level.
- Maintaining and updating mailing databases.
- Responsible for securing Insurance Companies/TPAs from both local & international level.
- Building close rapport with existing Insurance clients by implementing health initiative programmes and campaigns.
- Assisting in the delivery of approved strategies.
- Organising and attending events and exhibitions especially for local and international activities.
- Contributing to and developing long term marketing plans and strategies.
- Securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects.
- Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness.
- Monitoring competitor activity.
- Evaluating marketing & event campaigns.
- Responsible for achieving the set target for the department and managing budgets.
- Supporting other colleagues in other aspects of marketing initiatives.
- Responsible for implementing marketing strategies mainly in Thomson Hospitals Sdn Bhd, Malaysia i.e. all promotional activities that will position/enhance the image/brand of the hospital and continue to execute existing roles and responsibilities in current position.
- Liaising, monitoring and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders (Insurance Co, Insurance Agents, Corporate, NGO etc).
- Assist in event management (Symposium, Health Talk, Health Screening etc) and other promotional activities.
Requirement
- Degree in Business / Marketing and or certificates in any management related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in medical field, preferably within a marketing environment.
- Working experience handling General Practitioner (GP) related sales/services an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be a team player and the ability to work independently.
