Maintain and analyse the monthly management report in timely and accurately. To assist in preparing of annual budgets and monitor the budgetary control.
To assist in the preparation of other company's supplementary reports on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis for management, audit and statutory purposes.
Prepare monthly management report to ensure all transactions occurred have been taken up accordingly on accrual basis in order to assist top management to get an overall view about performance and position of the company.
Check and monitor all related payments prepared by account clerks, ensuring payments made to third parties are accurate and have appropriate and sufficient supporting documents. Besides that, ensure payments made are within the time frame decided by management.
Liaise with auditor and tax agent, providing relevant information to ensure our prototype financial report is a true and fair view, and appropriate reports or forms can be issued and submitted to the Statutory Body to avoid penalties.
Maintain and monitor files, ensuring all accounting documents are kept and maintained accordingly.
Monitor the internal control process for all aspects of the accounting functions and ensure adherence to the company's policies & procedures. Responsible for monitoring the Financial and accounting system to ensure all transactions are accurate and tally with the system.
Ensure close liaison between the credit controller and the marketing/sales department so that credit issues are resolved smoothly.
Check, update, and assess a customer's creditworthiness based on payment track record and financial position.
Review and recommend credit limits and terms based on the creditworthiness assessment.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
LCCI - At least 7 years' experience in a similar field.
Preferably familiar with Accpac accounting software.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong command of the English and Malay languages.
Based at Bukit Batu, Sedenak.
