Senior Executive, Finance

Job Description

• Oversee and review finance and accounting functions, including payment processing, as part of daily operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with proper analysis and supporting schedules.
• Assist in tax-related matters in coordination with tax agents, maintaining a sound understanding of tax regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of annual tax returns, tax estimates, and payments.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure statutory audit reports are submitted promptly.
• Develop and maintain finance and accounting policies and procedures to enhance compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with various business units to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, manage receivables, and oversee bank reconciliations.
• Support finance and accounting-related projects as required.
• Perform any other duties related to finance tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Experience in handling external audits and tax matters.
• Familiarity with accounting MYOB systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
