Senior Executive/Executive (Procurement)

The Senior Executive/Executive (Procurement) will join our client's Food Division. New joiner will manage all aspects of procurement within the food division (sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, budgeting, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods).

  • The Senior Executive/Executive (Procurement) will be sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Identifying and selecting new suppliers to expand the supply chain network.
  • Managing and optimizing inventory levels to minimize costs while meeting demand.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless procurement processes.
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyzing market trends and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and standards.
  • Managing and tracking budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
  • Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least more than 2 years working experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain related fields.
  • Required language(s): English & Mandarin.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of general procurement systems.
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end process of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment.
