Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To implement the strategic goals and objectives of operation and maintenance contract, facilities management and services toward a high quality performance and customer oriented. To supervise the maintenance and operation activities, target revenue, budgetary, resources and its contract goals to support company’s objective by promoting a good business practices and ISO 9001:2008 standard practices.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Plan, implement and oversee projects, additional works and special business works including management of project resources such as manpower, materials and tools.
• Deliver quality O&M services and project works via conformance to ISO 9001:2008.
• Prepare and monitor yearly departmental budget for spare parts, maintenance cost, and additional/new project cost.
• Attaining project time frame, housekeeping and Safety requirements and policies.
• Regular and amicable liaison with client's representative.
• Ensuring system operating within the established performance parameter.
• Plan, implement and monitor O&M activities including Planned Preventive Maintenance, Condition Base Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance in order to upkeep equipment performance and system technical availability.
• Lead and manage the project or O&M system team.
• To plan and organize the execution of the works for the team integrating O&M and project requirements, personnel competency and expediency.
• To monitor, control, report and enhance performance of team members (annual and performance reports and discipline).
• Responsible for the team with respect to staff development, training, manpower planning and staff welfare.
• Monitor O&M and additional project claim in order to achieve departmental monthly and yearly target revenue.
• Ability to trouble-shoot and restore electrical / mechanical problems.
• Secure additional works and remains competitive in the market.
• Adopting the best practice technique to be more cost effective and technically efficient in the O&M services.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree holder with minimum 3.0 CGPA with minimum 2 years relevant experience in supervisory role.

Education

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical/ Civil/ in Engineering.
• Registered with Board of Engineers of Malaysia.
• Preferably a Member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia.
