Senior Executive, Compliance & Risk (AmREIT Managers Sdn Bhd)

This is an excellent opportunity to join the AmREIT Managers Sdn Bhd team as a Senior Executive, Compliance & Risk. In this full-time role based in Wisma AmFIRST, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will play a key part in ensuring the company's compliance and risk management processes meet the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain a robust compliance framework to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations and internal policies
• Identify, assess, mitigate and monitor key compliance and operational risks
• Provide compliance advice and support to internal stakeholders
• Implement and oversee compliance training programs
• Prepare regulatory reports and respond to regulatory inquiries
• Collaborate with relevant teams to strengthen the overall control environment
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and best practices in compliance and risk management

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance and risk management, preferably in real estate investment trust (REIT) industry, property management, property development or construction industry with external or internal auditing experience.
• Good understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as finance, accounting.
