Senior Executive, Chief Information Officer’s Office (Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad, Kuching)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to plan, develop, implement and oversee company’s IT initiatives and projects;
• Assist the CIO to monitor the IT department;
• Assist the CIO to develop the business case for the company’s strategic planning including whitepapers, financial analysis, presentations and Board papers;
• Monitoring of budgetary control, forecast, risk matrix and margin analysis;
• Assist the CIO to review financial statements, reports and other performance data to gauge productivity and achieve daily, weekly and monthly objectives;
• Assist the CIO in implementing and improving current IT policies and processes;
• Assist the CIO in providing consultancy on Group functions initiatives and activities;
• Communicate to various clients and stakeholders as needed;
• Assist the CIO with Project Management activities.

Requirements:

• At least 4-6 years working experience in IT and technology-related or similar field;
• Required Skills: Understanding of financial treatments and financial spreadsheets, Data analysis, good negotiation skills;
• Required Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia;
• Experience in IT and technology-related fields preferred;
• Understanding of business processes, Business case, financial statements and General Ledger;
• Excellent in interpersonal skills and capable of driving a team;
• Able to present to Senior Management and Board of Directors;
• Familiarity with ERP systems a bonus;
• Degree in IT-related fields or any business/management discipline.
