Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and improvements for die attach bonders, wire bonders, welders, ovens, testers, etc.
- Lead a group of technicians.
- Identify, lead and implement cost reduction activities.
- Prepare & perform new equipment set-up and buy-off.
- Ensure proper facilities are available for new equipment set-up.
- Liaise with equipment vendor to improve tool capability.
- Provide feedback on equipment and material issues/make recommendations and offer solutions to ensure new products meet requirements.
- Work with process engineers in preparing and updating process documentations and work instructions for assembly line process and equipment.
- Collaborate with production team in improving yield & UPH of the assigned processes, including cost reduction activities.
- Ensure compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
- Drive continual improvement.
- Practice risk-based thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering – Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent.
- Relevant working experience in networking, test process or product transfer.
- Familiarity with product development process & proven success of releasing products to production.
- Understanding of basic test methodologies and ability to interpret/read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products.
