Senior Engineer - Site

Job Summary

To assist the Construction Manager and Project Manager in planning and execution works for the Project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Attends to technical matters on site by developing solutions to problems with the application of engineering concepts, practices and techniques.
2. Assist the Construction Manager in the planning of work and resources with particular reference to work program to ensure timely progress.
3. Close co-ordination with supervisors, surveyors, laboratory personnel, foremen, and sub-contractors to ensure effective teamwork.
4. Prepares the method statements and construction shop drawings for submission and to obtain timely approvals to ensure timely progress.
5. Comply with the QMS through preparation of relevant site documentations such as RFI, site diary, etc.
6. Attend to site inspections of the work trades.
7. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
8. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Building/Construction/Civil Engineering or any other relevant qualifications.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in construction.

2. Possess strong leadership skills and able to lead the team.
