The SCCM & Packaging Engineer is responsible for overall coordination of the Delivery, Operation Support and Implementation for SCCM operations for End-User Technology (EUT) services to SingTel’s internal stakeholders and users. The key focus is on delivering quality services and software packaging on Endpoint Management for Windows and Mac Devices. Should be able to address multi-faceted issues effectively and in a collaborative manner. Applying Service Delivery approach to ensure consistent and continuous Endpoint solutions and technologies are successfully deployed to meet the Technology Infrastructure (TI) strategic objectives. Possess strong communication abilities and follow the internal process to fulfil user expectations and company goals.

Developing, testing and maintaining software packages for distribution to user desktops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Building and maintaining images containing operating system and core applications for distribution to user desktops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Maintaining effective local documentation including standard operating procedures, best practices, and methodologies for application packaging and OS deployment.
Developing and maintaining skills in Microsoft Windows, OS deployment and software packaging technologies, including assessing how they may be deployed into existing services or developed into new ones.
Identifying and selecting, by agreement and liaison with users, the best method to deploy each piece of software requested taking into consideration any current technical limitations.
Having excellent scripting knowledge in VB Script, PowerShell and batch script.
Contributing to the development of the End User Computing infrastructure, particularly relating to applications and image deployment, assisting with the development of technical methodologies, best practice, policies, procedures, and associated documentation.
Contributing to the ongoing software selection and management, particularly relating to applications and image deployment, best practice, policies, procedures, and associated documentation.
Monitoring, configuring and maintaining the health and performance of the SCCM infrastructure, including the Central Administration Site (CAS) and primary sites.
Troubleshooting content distribution to distribution points, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of software packages, applications, and updates.
Proficiency in SCCM infrastructure components, such as site systems, distribution points, boundaries, and content management.
Investigating and resolving SCCM infra-related issues & incidents, requesting and creating change requests for infrastructure modification.
Providing support in terms of OSD, deployments, patching etc.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting, WMI Query, Power BI & SQL queries for SCCM reporting is a plus.
Managing Infrastructure upgrades as per Microsoft release version for large scale environments.
Intune Knowledge Co-management.
Independently resolving tickets and ensuring that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
Prioritizing activities to ensure continuity of service and prompt issue resolution.
Skills for Success:
Degree/Diploma in IT, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
8 – 10 years working experience as a SCCM Engineer or with Software Packaging experience.
5 years EUT related experience in a large enterprise (>20000 staff) with multi-location.
Experience in Microsoft Windows Servers and Technologies such as Active Directory, SCCM, M365 Intune.
Management of Microsoft Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android clients.
Working experience of using ServiceNow is a plus.
Experience in Microsoft SCCM/ Intune and Mobile Device Management is a plus.
