To engage with vendors/suppliers on purchase of attachments/accessories, for engine packaging, according to PSD Standing Instruction on procurement.
Communicate and execute engine packaging works for EPG / OEM customers by providing technical assistance and instruction to PSD product support team.
Ensure engine and attachments are ordered, packaged and tested for “on time” delivery to Customers.
To plan and execute seamless transition from Legacy to New Products. In-house training and testing to be conducted for Sales Personnel and Customers to gain confidence and acceptance.
Able to understand customer requirements, project design and propose a better cost-saving solution for the customer/consultant.
Assist sales personnel to arrange testing guidelines and procedures for in-house Customer Witness Testing of EP.
Attend project technical clarification meetings in support of sales efforts.
Execute and manage projects undertaken by Electric Power Business within Peninsular Malaysia within the work scope and balance of plant requirements.
To execute all procurement-related activities in compliance with Group Policies and Authorities (GPA), Group Procurement Policies and Authorities (GPPA), and also SD Industrial’s procurement “Standard Operating Procedures (Procurement SOPs).
To provide Sales and Technical support for Electric Power business to increase business turnover and profitability.
To assist in project execution and meet customer project expectations.
To comply and fulfill the project requirements and planned project deliverables.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering. Preferably with Electrical or Mechanical background.
At least 5 years’ experience in project execution related to rotating or critical equipment.
6-9 years minimum experience in engineering project management and rotating machines such as turbines, engines, etc.
