The role involves defining and implementing quality targets for multiphase and POL ICs and power modules based on customer and market requirements, while overseeing the entire product lifecycle to ensure quality criteria are met. It includes developing qualification strategies, managing product qualification, addressing customer needs, and handling product deviations and risk assessments in production. Additionally, the role focuses on deploying new quality tools, training colleagues, and actively participating in strategic meetings with key customers to maintain alignment with quality objectives especially in the area of AI.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Define and deploy quality targets for multiphase and POL ICs and power modules based on customer, market and application requirements.
- Develop a qualification strategy and plan for ICs and modules (cost, time, resources) based on customer requirements or product and technology innovation.
- Drive ICs and modules qualification and be responsible for Quality Management of the whole product life cycle for ICs and modules.
- Ensure that quality criteria are met with focus on value add for customers and Infineon.
- Drive information and documentation of product quality related topics like quality related queries and qualification documents.
- Act as advocate for the customer and particularly focus on our client's needs in the course of problem solving.
- Represent Quality Management in case of product and production deviations and risk assessments for ICs and modules in volume production.
- Cooperate with other internal business and operational functions for all Quality Management aspects.
- Deploy new Quality Tools & Methods with focus on ICs and modules.
- Train and coach other colleagues in the Quality Management team.
- Active meeting participation with strategic and key customers.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university or university of applied science degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or comparable.
- At least 5+ years of experience in Quality Management in a technical environment and/or Electronic & Semiconductor assembly/Research & Development/Engineering with product and technology development focus.
- Fundamental knowledge on JEDEC, IEC, AEC and ISO qualification standards for modules and their applications as a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and able to work in a cross-functional dynamic environment.
- Experience in customer communication and fluent English skills.
