Senior Engineer, Mechanical (Simulation)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer, Mechanical (Simulation) to join our team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Serves as a senior technical resource and advisor within the team.
2. Provides specialized technical guidance in studies and designs in areas of specific expertise.
3. Develops study and design protocols to enable efficient, high-quality work by colleagues.
4. Participates in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
5. Prepares construction cost estimates and estimates for technical efforts required in projects.
6. Utilizes expertise in all stages of completing the discipline component for PS&E packages.
7. Conducts quality control reviews of design calculations and technical drawings.
8. Prepares sections of technical specifications.
9. Contributes to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on simulation.
3. Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application in simulation.
4. Expertise in simulation software such as ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, or COMSOL.
5. Must have carried out SES and CFD simulation work for Underground Metro stations and tunnels.
6. Must have adequate knowledge on Design of Tunnel ventilation system and ECS system for Underground stations and Tunnels.
7. Strong background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is preferred for this role.
8. Experience in thermal and structural analysis techniques.
