Senior Engineer Information Technology

Job Description

In your new role you will:

1. Operate and develop our Process Information Management System (PIMS) based on the AVEVA System platform.
2. Collaborate with a dynamic, global team across AP, EU, and US regions.
3. Provide support for over 10 facilities globally, specializing in Incident and Change Management.
4. Act as an in-house consultant for PIMS.
5. Actively support process and system consolidation.
6. Create solution proposals and blueprints for change requests and project proposals.
7. Engage in the project management of IT initiatives across multiple Infineon production sites, with a primary focus on the Asia Pacific region.
8. Accountable for delivering internal training sessions.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any equivalent course.
2. Minimum 1-3 years of related working experience.
3. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., VBScript) and SQL.
4. Programming experience in a .net environment to be able to carry out both configuration and programming.
5. Basic know-how with Windows Server OS.
6. Knowledge of process control systems, and SCADA systems / IoT is an added advantage.
7. Experience in IT project management.
8. Knowledge of requirements engineering and/or business consulting.
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
10. Ability to work on AP & EU business hours during critical periods on-call for critical operation support.
11. Good analytics and problem-solving skills.
12. Good communication skills and proactive team player.
13. Ability to communicate and present confidently in German and English.
