Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
AutoCAD and EPLAN experience.
Above 5 years experience in industrial installations, IC Engine and Gen-Set Control, preferably in the Oil & Gas or maritime industry.
Understanding of offshore and maritime rules and regulations regarding electrical engineering.
Understanding of electrical power distribution and protection for low and medium voltages (switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, lighting, automation cabinets).
Understanding of engine control system, generator control system.
Basic understanding of automation (PLC) applications.
Ability to learn concepts and technical details of complex systems.
Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Pro-active and self-motivated team player with strong engineering judgment skills.
Able to work well in a high pressure environment with continuous changes.
Creativity and strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, strong communication skills.
Willingness to travel for short assignments and work abroad or offshore.
Job Responsibilities:
Engage with customers and promote TPS Solution mainly on Instrumentation and Electrical Equipment.
Keep abreast of market conditions and identify project sales opportunities for TPS offered solutions.
Regularly update on the number of sales presentations made, engagement with customers, close follow up on prospects, update tender and order book and update sales conversion.
Monitor payment schedule, invoicing and liaise with Account Department on project payment transactions.
Prepare proposals, execute purchase orders, monitor project progress and schedule of delivery, coordinate flow of project information between the principals and clients, interfacing with the principals’ representative and the fabricators during the installation of the equipment/module.
Provide support to operation team for offshore and onshore installations work.
Provide technical procurement support about spare parts.
Sourcing for CAT and Non-CAT equipment.
Field service, installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
Design electrical and instruments installation systems.
