Senior Engineer, Electrical (Facility)

As a Senior Engineer supporting Facility, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Facilities equipment, e.g., Electrical, Steam Boiler, Thermal Heater, CDA, Fire Fighting, and other systems in the facility area such as HVAC and Building systems at Johor. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Adherence to Alcon values and standards, observing and ensuring full compliance with Alcon Code of Business Conduct.
• Observing and ensuring full compliance with Alcon Information Security Policy, Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards.
• Leading a group of Electrical and Boiler team (technician, Chargeman, Boilerman, and operator) for operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and projects.
• Verifying daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checking/Preventive Maintenance (as SOP checklist) & troubleshooting of the following systems:
• Electrical System.
• Compressed dried air system (CDA), including Air compressor, Air Dryer, and filtration.
• Nitrogen system (N2).
• Assisting boilerman when required on Boiler, GTS, Firefighting system.
• Supporting Building related tasks when required.
• Supporting HVAC systems such as Chiller system, AHU/MAU, Cooling tower, Exhaust system, etc., when required.
• Carrying out non-conformance investigation and equipment validation.
• Carrying out projects or tasks assigned by superior for facility items.
• Ensuring good housekeeping and good 6S practice at all Facility Systems and its premises.
• Performing routine facility work as per superior's instruction, such as taking Project improvement, energy saving program, and PM monitoring.
  
  

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, or a Diploma holder with at least 5 years of experience will be considered.
• Working experience as maintenance/facility engineer in Electrical, Steam Boiler, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and CDA. Good command of the English language is an advantage.
