Senior E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive e-commerce strategies, enhancing digital marketing efforts, and driving growth across various online channels. The ideal candidate will focus on increasing online sales, improving user experience, and boosting brand visibility through data-driven digital campaigns. They will also ensure operational efficiency and collaborate cross-functionally to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. E-Commerce Strategy: Develop and execute robust e-commerce strategies aligned with business goals to drive revenue, enhance customer experience, and improve conversion rates.
  2. Prioritize and recommend initiatives for site performance optimization, customer acquisition, and conversion improvement.
  3. Digital Marketing Strategy: Lead and implement data-driven digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and sales while maximizing ROI.
  4. Oversee key digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and display advertising.
  5. Manage retargeting campaigns to re-engage visitors and boost conversions.
  6. Utilize digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Facebook Ads Manager) to track performance and continuously optimize campaigns.
  7. Website Management & Optimization: Recommend and implement strategies to improve website usability, performance, and conversion rates with a focus on user experience (UX).
  8. Conduct A/B testing and gather user feedback for ongoing website optimizations.
  9. Collaborate with IT and design teams to align technical and marketing objectives.
  10. Campaign Design & Performance Analytics: Design and oversee digital campaigns to drive traffic, increase engagement, and boost online sales.
  11. Use analytics tools to track key performance metrics (e.g., CTR, conversion rates) and identify optimization opportunities.
  12. Create campaigns that focus on customer lifetime value (CLV) to foster long-term engagement and repeat business.
  13. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (IT, sales, customer service, etc.) to align marketing efforts with product offerings and customer support.
  14. Integrate digital and traditional marketing strategies to provide a seamless customer experience.
  15. Regularly update teams on e-commerce performance and strategy implementation.
  16. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
  17. Provide actionable insights to continuously adapt strategies based on market dynamics and customer behavior.
  18. Content and Product Management: Advise on content marketing strategies, ensuring content is engaging, optimized for SEO, and suitable for social media and email campaigns.
  19. Ensure product listings are accurate, detailed, and optimized for maximum conversion and customer satisfaction.
  20. Vendor and Third-Party Management: Assess and manage relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., payment processors, shipping carriers) to ensure smooth operations and value creation.
  21. Performance Reporting & Data-Driven Strategy: Prepare and present performance reports, focusing on metrics such as ROI, CAC, conversion rates, and CLV.
  22. Use data insights to enhance strategies and optimize e-commerce and marketing efforts.
  23. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to e-commerce and marketing teams to encourage innovation and efficiency.
  24. Train junior staff on best practices for digital marketing, e-commerce operations, and performance optimization.
  25. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to e-commerce industry regulations, advertising standards, and best practices to maintain brand integrity and customer trust.
  26. Ad-Hoc Support: Support cross-functional projects, industry events, and company initiatives to contribute to the overall business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Doctorate) are advantageous, but practical experience is highly valued.
  2. At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in e-commerce and digital marketing, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
  3. Expertise in e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies, particularly within high-value industries.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  5. Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  6. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  7. Ability to adapt to industry trends and emerging digital tools.
  8. Experience managing high-profile events, product launches, and campaigns for luxury or high-value brands.
  9. In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Ads, social media management platforms, and email marketing tools.
  10. In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
