Job Description

• Understand the product and business requirements, including content model
• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving applications in accordance with user requirements
• Writing clean, functional code on the various stacks and frameworks that include mobile application, front-end and back-end
• Participating in the architecture design and creation of scalable software
• Analyzing and optimizing application code for efficiency, reliability, security, and performance
• Providing operational support and ongoing maintenance and enhancement after implementation
• Interacting directly with peer developers, QA, UI/UX and product team as part of a cohesive team.
• Conducting peer code review to maintain high code quality
• Testing of developed products and fixing bugs
• Writing technical documentation and best practices
• Driving quality-related initiatives like unit testing and pattern level design and development
• Actively practising source code version control with Git.

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge of ReactJS and NodeJS is a must
• Experienced in Laravel PHP is a huge plus!
• Experienced in native mobile development and React Native is a huge plus!
• Experienced in NextJS, shadcn and TailwindCSS is a plus
• Great understanding of Backend Development - including creating and maintaining APIs, and, designing database structures
• Experienced in various API integrations, including REST or GraphQL
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud architectures are a plus
• Good interest in integrating AI into improving productivity and obtaining data-driven decisions

Experience-Related Skillsets & Characteristics

• 3-4 years of relevant experience or more required
• Work well with various other team members via video calls and remote working
• Able to manage work while mentoring junior developers
• Security domain: Familiar with penetration testing & resolution
• Able to manage and consult upper management with best practices with regards to development processes
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
