Electrical Design Engineer

Pro Cahaya Industries Sdn Bhd is looking for a skilled Design Engineer to support engineers through a variety of tasks including routine layout, proposal drawings, diagrams, and sketches through Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer System & EPLAN.

As we constantly have projects & system integrations lined up, we want you to join our team as a Design Engineer in Selangor.

What Does Our Team Do?

• As a senior member of the Design team; knowledge transfer of design and drafting skills to junior engineers.
• Responsible for all design drawing operations consisting of instrumentation hook-up drawings, P & ID’s drawings, electrical system drawings, MCC & PLC panels drawings, SLD and three-line diagrams, equipment loop diagrams, etc.
• To understand the drawing specifications based on equations, calculations, and written instructions and able to prepare drawings based on sketches and existing drawings provided by engineer.
• Maintain CAD models and EPLAN drawings and associated files in the data management system per customer standard.
• Create CAD drawings for engineering projects including design tender drawings, shop drawings for consultant approval, construction drawings, coordination drawings, as-built drawings, etc.
• Understand project scope of supply and perform panel design following customer requirements.
• Proactively update job progress to project engineer or manager.
• Able to design modifications/changes as per customer requirements.
• Participate in customer design reviews when required.
• Involve in panel testing.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Tertiary education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline.
• At least 3-5 years working experience with MCC and PLC panel drawings.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• A team player and at the same time able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
