Senior Data Scientist (APAC)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Advocate for APAC's analytical needs globally, promoting optimal data ingestion and consumption techniques to stakeholders.
• Develop and refine data-driven solutions to address regional challenges, leveraging valuable data sources and deploying predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Partner with global centers to adopt best practices in data science, collaborating with Business Analytics teams and counterparts to translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Ensure regional analytics initiatives align with global architecture standards, managing and leveraging key data analytics tools to support business objectives effectively.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data science in MNCs.
• Proven expertise in data as a product, data mining, data problem solving, transformation, and modelling, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, Hadoop, Spark.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
