ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be the subject matter expert in the field of data science.

In this role, you’ll need to provide support to data scientists on machine learning, AI and other advanced analytics, ensuring continuous knowledge sharing and the transfer of best practices and techniques in the data science space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead complex data mining and extraction/transformation projects.
• Utilize advanced machine learning tools for model building to support decision making and to drive use cases.
• Contribute to the development of Gen AI use cases.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in data science.
• Develop insights from data patterns to support decision-making and drive implementation.
• Contribute to the development of projects from a data-driven approach.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in data science.
• Mentor and guide data scientists in analytics projects as well as in data science-related activities.
• Collaborate with peers to share expertise and insights.
• Support data scientists in regular review sessions with respective Retail stakeholders, SMEs, and Commercial Banking to ensure alignment on data solutions, deliverables, and standards against business challenges.
• Contribute to the development of the data science strategy.
• Formulate MLOps framework for the department.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree/Masters/PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing supervised learning and unsupervised learning analytics models for CRM, fraud, or productivity gain use cases.
• Good knowledge of advanced analytics techniques applied for model development on use cases.
• Python programming experience with good knowledge of advanced analytics model development.
• Good working knowledge in using visualization tools to present findings (Tableau > Python > SAS).
• Able to write and execute complex queries in SQL.
