Senior Data Analyst/Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets related to operations, commerce, user behavior, retention, operational efficiencies, user experience, employee experience, and redundancies.
• Apply statistical methods and tools to interpret data, focusing on trends and patterns that can support diagnostic and predictive analytics.
• Concentrate on commercial data (marketing, sales) to generate insights on customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth, and market trends.
• Analyze non-commercial data (operations, maintenance, customer advocacy, inventory) to pinpoint opportunities for operational improvements and efficiency.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively convey findings to management and stakeholders.
• Present complex information clearly and concisely, making it accessible to non-technical team members.
• Anticipate management's needs by identifying and exploring data-driven opportunities and challenges that may have been overlooked.
• Offer inferential insights that can drive strategic advantages and enhance operations, highlighting less obvious areas for improvement.
• Collect and analyze industry data to grasp market dynamics, competitor performance, and external influences on the business.
• Utilize external data sources to supplement internal data, providing a holistic view that aids in strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation checks.
• Comply with data privacy regulations and company policies when handling sensitive information.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, maintenance, HR, and management, to address their data needs.
• Help teams understand the implications of data insights for their areas, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
• Contribute to accountability by providing transparent and actionable data.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a comparable role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R, along with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively present data findings to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive in identifying issues and opportunities within the data, providing solutions that align with business objectives.
• Knowledge of industry trends and the ability to utilize external data sources for comprehensive analysis.
