Responsibilities

Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented Senior Conveyancing Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and preparing subsale agreements, managing complex property transactions, and providing strategic legal advice. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide a team, and shape the department’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the conveyancing team, providing mentorship and support to junior lawyers and support staff.
2. Oversee a diverse caseload of residential and commercial property transactions, with a focus on subsale agreements.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate subsale agreements, sale and purchase agreements, and other property-related documentation.
4. Provide expert legal advice to clients on conveyancing matters, including title issues, financing, and regulatory compliance.
5. Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transactions.
6. Stay updated on changes in property law and ensure the team adheres to best practices and compliance standards.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

1. Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of PQE in conveyancing.
2. Proven expertise in drafting and preparing subsale agreements.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
4. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. In-depth knowledge of property law, including title issues, financing, and regulatory requirements.
6. Client-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
