Senior Commercial Analyst

Job Description:

Client: A subsidiary of a leading oil and gas exploration and production company.

Type of hiring: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Protect the company's interests during commercial discussions.
• Coordinate and/or lead commercial discussions.
• Prepare business ideas and scenario evaluations and provide support.
• Examine the commercial consequences of business actions.
• Coordinate responses to JVPs and other inquiries.
• Make certain that the company is well-represented in industry and trade associations.
• Assist the Head of Commercial and Economics with reporting and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A university degree (or equivalent qualification) in engineering, finance, or law.
• At least 10 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Experience with Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements, and Sales Contracts.
• Previous experience in commercial negotiations and economics.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in negotiating oil and gas contracts.
