Senior Business Analyst (4PL)

Job Summary:

This is a broad ranging Senior Business Analyst that conducts overall analysis and evaluation of the supply chain of various customers to help identify and drive CI Initiatives within their assigned region. This position will develop and standardize processes and workflows within and across regions by collaborating both with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Functions: (Primary)

1. Responsible for escalation and troubleshooting of any regional and global performance issues.
2. Conducts monthly reviews with assigned regional control tower teams to understand performance trends and captures improvement plans as required.
3. Gathers report requirements through open dialog with external management stakeholders to monitor areas of key performance.
4. Sets up workflow to generate this reporting in an efficient manner.
5. Documents technical requirements as needed to allow for IT development teams to improve or fix software platform.
6. Develops dashboards and other BI tools for both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Supports regional 4PL teams with data driven projects and analysis.
8. Controls and manages updates to master data.
9. Supplies data and analysis for projects and sourcing events as required.
10. Interfaces with technical teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
11. Perform special reviews and projects as needed.

Job Specifications:

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong analytical capabilities.
2. Knowledge of MS Power BI or similar platform.
3. Strong knowledge of supply chain management.
4. Demonstrated utilization of business intelligence to achieve results.
5. Strong team player and excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks in order to achieve objectives.
7. Project management skills.
8. Ability to perform in a multicultural matrix environment.
9. Ability to utilize and optimize IT resources to achieve process efficiencies.

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of business/supply chain analyst experience.
3. Demonstration of business acumen required.

Knowledge and Skills Desirable but Not Essential:

1. Industry experience.
2. Sound understanding of a service organization.
3. International Business Experience.

Travel/Meeting Requirements:

1. 5% travel as required, may be more during implementation periods.
2. Meetings and conference calls may be required outside of normal business hours to allow for global participation.
