Looking for a highly curious thinker and doer who has a passion for brands, media, marketing, tech, culture and everything in between.

He/she will act as a strategic partner to the account management, creative and client teams to bring to the table a strong point of view and critical thinking across audience insights, cultural & societal shifts, media trends, creative influences, business dynamics, connection context, and tech innovations that inform strong, channel agnostic strategic recommendations.

A passion for the creative advertising business coupled with an always-on sense of curiosity to stay abreast of the rapidly evolving consumer/cultural landscape as it pertains to brand narratives, creative work, and media choices is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Crafting creative briefs and narratives to facilitate briefings on several brands and the ability to mentor and train others in the same pursuits
  • Acts as a catalyst to creative and brand teams in seeking out new ways to add value to the brand and in identifying future opportunities
  • Support the strategy leaders in new business pitches
  • Demonstrates the maturity and leadership skills to become a key player in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary cross agency team
  • Be proficient in the usage and translation of all types of data into leverageable insights to drive brand narratives, creative thinking and client growth
  • Lead collaboration amongst client teams (media/creative, and with client) and facilitate brainstorms, think tanks and ideation session that drive creativity, innovation and idea generation
  • Builds strong relationships with client marketing teams and earns their trust and respect
  • Proactively collaborate with other dentsu group practices like media, data, CRM, social, commerce etc. to identify and leverage cross-sell / upsell opportunities
  • Be the always-on catalyst who is clued on to evolving trends and behaviour shaping the cultural landscape and share it across dentsu on a consistent basis
  • Support the Heads of Strategy, Products & Growth on thought leadership and award submission initiatives that impacts the broader agency and client business

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field or related discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 years experience in media strategy, communications strategy, or cross discipline marketing strategy.
  • Familiarity with, and ability to capably review qualitative and quantitative research to draw and interpret insights.
  • Proven ability to interact with and influence people at all levels of an organization.
  • Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach to planning
  • Ability to build strong inter-disciplinary relationships
  • Fundamental understanding of brand strategy mental models and thinking frameworks and their role in brand marketing
  • Creation of breakthrough brand activation/go-to-market ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and other insights gathering tools.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset who inspires thought and creativity through positive influence and a collaborative spirit
  • A T-shaped talent whose core skillset is rooted in creative or brand strategy, but has experience working with other strategy experts in media, data, business, tech, experience etc
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities, discerning a clear path forward and acting upon them swiftly
  • A positively critical and curious mind, with a willingness to challenge the norms with the goal of getting to the right solution
  • High level of emotional maturity as well as a high adaptability quotient to work across specialist disciplines
