About the role:

The team at CCR is seeking a qualified Lawyer with construction experience with 10+ years Post Qualification Experience, or alternatively dually qualified with a strong commercial/construction background having obtained a Master of Construction Law or Juris Doctor. You will have well-developed proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing matters while mentoring a team of associates.

This role reports directly to the Director of Legal & Contracts. Additionally, you will work alongside a team of highly qualified senior leaders with careers that span decades, having worked on some of the most globally recognised and reported infrastructure projects. Significant mentorship and opportunities for ongoing career development will be provided. You will be working on leading a range of complex matters, providing specialised construction and engineering advice on major infrastructure projects utilising your expertise in contract and commercial advice, claims preparation, SOPA, and dispute resolution.

Key Skills/Experience:

The successful applicant will ideally possess the following:

1. Degree Qualified Lawyer 10+ PQE or alternatively Degree Qualified QS or Engineer with Master in Construction Law or Juris Doctor.
2. Proven experience in construction law/or strong construction commercial background.
3. Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
4. The ability to lead and develop a team of associates.
5. Well-developed research skills.
6. Ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholders and clients.
7. Strong and proven commercial acumen.
