What you'll do:

  • Support the development and maintenance of a high-quality portfolio of Mobility & Travel Services category for Klook’s rapidly growing global customer base.
  • Sales Planning and Execution: Create and deliver compelling sales pitches to existing and prospective merchants, driving engagement and retention. Leverage Klook's advantages to build out competitive supply products. Negotiate with merchants to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Sales Acquisition and Pipeline Management: Identify ideal suppliers to join the Klook platform to expand offerings. Develop, manage, and nurture a sustainable acquisition pipeline to achieve successful business outcomes.
  • Merchant Communication and Strategy: Maintain regular communication with existing merchants, conduct business reviews, and provide updates on opportunities.
  • Partner Engagement and Relationship Management: Build trust and relationships with partners to enhance their sales potential across Klook's platforms.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Utilize internal and external resources to conduct comprehensive market research, identifying new opportunities and formulating GTM strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with various internal functions (e.g., tech, product, marketing) to execute plans, maximize sales, and enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll need:

  • 1-3 years work experience in Business Development, Sales, or account management, or Online Travel Agency (OTA) experience.
  • Familiarity with travel products; experience with tours & activities preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in FMCG, OTA, Merchant-Facing Technology, and/or E-Commerce is an advantage.
  • Sales Techniques: Proficiency in pitching, negotiation, consultative selling, and closing deals.
  • Pipeline Management: Experience in identifying potential clients, maintaining relationships, and managing sales pipelines.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong creative problem-solving skills for addressing merchants' needs and overcoming sales obstacles.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Flexibility to navigate changing market dynamics and overcome obstacles.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work cohesively with teams and clients.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to understanding customer needs and providing excellent service.
