Senior Architect

We are looking for Senior Architects to fill up the positions in view that we have a few new major projects secured recently.

Senior Architect Responsibilities:

• Prepare the Concept Design and Schematic Designs;
• Conduct Feasibility Studies and Prepare Design Proposals and Reports;
• Liaise with Client Representatives and Consultants to ensure that Project Objectives are met;
• Perform Administrative and Professional Architectural Work by managing projects from inception through implementation stage;
• Provide leadership to the project and the project design team consisting of architects, engineers and designers and external consultants;
• Prepare tender documentation, schedules and material specifications;
• Ensure work complies with authority regulations;
• Manage the Building Contract;
• Assist the Team Leader with necessary tasks to complete the Projects assigned to him/her;
• Supervise and Manage the Junior Architects.

Job Requirements:

• Master in Architecture for Senior Architect's Position (Minimum CGPA: 3.2 and above);
• Architectural registration with LAM is an advantage but not a pre-requisite;
• Possess Strong Client Relationship and Management Skills;
• A Team Player with Good Articulation and Writing Skills;
• Able to think strategically and can lead a design/documentation team;
• Sound knowledge of local codes and approval processes in Malaysia;
• Experience in project management processes, able to coordinate and direct other consultants in all phases of architectural services;
• Good knowledge of Design Development, Detailing and Construction practices;
• Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
