This position reports to Senior Sales Manager - Singapore Region.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments. Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of technical expertise solutions and services.

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Discrete Automation - B&R Business being based in Penang.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting customer's software and hardware issues.
• Developing, planning, and arranging training for customers on relevant products and technologies.
• Working closely with the regional sales team on presales support such as demonstrations, proof-of-concept testing, and providing consultation in justifying customer's application needs.
• Visiting customers in coordination with the regional sales team for application/technical clarification.
• Continuous update training from various sources and technique training provided from or at Headquarters.
• In charge of local engineering stock and providing support and technical advice to colleagues. Involving and assisting the Sales team in application & technical solutions, quotations, and securing of sales and application support mainly targeting potential customers in the region.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum Degree in Electrical/Automation/Controls Systems or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of progressive customer service experience required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply subject to internship experience.
• Must work well under pressure, be able to juggle many projects simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must also have an excellent sense of priorities.
• Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
• Knowledge and skills in Programming languages - Structured Text, C language, Ladder, and function block would be a plus.
