• Initiate and undertake strategic initiatives and analysis (including gross profit analysis, shrinkage analysis, facilities (R&M) analysis, Ad-hoc projects etc.) aimed at improving business performance.
• Review accuracy & timeliness of reports & analytical reviews and undertake corrective measures if required.
• Provide variance analysis of actual performance against plan.
• Coordinate bi-annual DC & E-Commerce Stock take and preparation of Stock Take results.
• Manage and coordinate the business planning and rolling forecast for the business unit(s) and ensure submission within timeline.
• Manage financial processes, contract review and controls for the business units.
• Ensure adequate internal control and closing gaps of external / internal audit findings.
• Drive collaboration between Business Units and Accounting Services team to ensure continuous business process improvements, proper controls and compliance to company policies & procedures, accounting standards, regulatory controls and SEA/Group HK guidelines.
• Provide input to the Accounting Services Team for associated activities including monthly accruals and provisions (Opex and Capex), reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare and review Budget / Forecasting templates and load files.
• Provide SAP Retail (Finance), SAP Business Intelligence and SAP FICO support.
• Undertake additional responsibilities to support/replace other team member roles if required.
• Involve, assist and support month and year end closing.

Do you have experience in the Senior Analyst, Finance?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
• Experience in a retail environment or working with distribution centers and e-commerce is an added advantage.
• Proven experience with SAP systems, particularly SAP Retail (Finance), SAP Business Intelligence, and SAP FICO.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and open to taking on additional responsibilities as required.
