Senior Advisor, PSC & JV Management

Job Description:

Client: A subsidiary of a leading oil and gas exploration and production company.

Type of hiring: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Maintain PSC and JOA to maintain compliance and the protection of the company's ability and rights to operate in Malaysia.
• Maintain Unitization Agreements, including redetermination exercises.
• JVPs and other interaction and information exchange.
• Resolve any disagreements or conflicts with JVPs and other stakeholders.
• Organise and oversee the logistics of JVPs and other meetings, such as SOCM, MCM, and TCM.
• Prepare and consolidate SOCM, MCM, and TCM presentation packs.
• Minutes of Meetings for SOCM, MCM, and TCM
• Prepare correspondences to communicate or secure approval from JVPs and other
• Focal for Non-Operated Asset.

Qualifications:

• A university degree (or equivalent qualification) in engineering, finance, or law.
• At least 10 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Experience with Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements, and Sales Contracts.
• Previous experience in commercial negotiations and economics.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in negotiating oil and gas contracts.
