Supporting Region: Channel Island (4pm to 1am)

What will you do?

  1. Provide high standard of operational support to Banking & Payment Operations team to support the growth of Business in British Isles for multiple jurisdictions
  2. Responsible for efficient and timely processing of all Banking & Payments products (cheque clearing, BACS & Direct Debits, fixed term deposit, foreign exchanges, account transfers, standing orders) received via Online Service requests
  3. Process and/or verify all accounting entries accurately and to meet defined cut-off times. Communicate all delays to local management
  4. Ensure rates are updated in core system upon request and accurate processing of cheque book orders
  5. Validation of all inward SWIFT and BACS payments observing UK payment regulations
  6. Process validation of account closure requests, apply interest and making final payment where required
  7. Promptly ensure completion of filing & scanning in accordance with Policy
  8. Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance to the bank rule, desktop guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  9. Provide relief support and other duties as assigned on all functions performed within the team and across the department
  10. Ensure EOD checks are conducted daily with any outstanding issues identified and action on the same day
  11. Ensure all unreconciled items and outstanding breaks are investigated and accounted for
  12. All charges pertaining to client transactions and payments are accounted for and ensure entries are processed
  13. Ensure proper escalation of issues/risks to management
  14. Other duties as assigned by management

Must-have

  1. Diploma/Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred with minimum 1-2 years of Private Bank or Wealth Management environment experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  2. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  3. Fast learner for new processing tasks assigned
  4. Strong working knowledge in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, SWIFT, Banking products, and International payments

Nice-to-have

  1. Familiar with Milvus.
  2. A growth mindset and always strive for excellence.
  3. Be able to work with minimal supervision
