• Assist superior in daily purchasing operations including import purchase, sourcing steel materials, price negotiation & follow up delivery.
• Lead and manage the procurement of goods and services for assigned categories, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough market research and supplier analysis to evaluate potential vendors and negotiate optimal pricing and terms.
• Implement and maintain effective procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal guidelines.
• Analyze procurement data and generate reports to identify trends, track performance, and measure cost savings.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and legal developments impacting procurement.
• Carry out price review activities for goods purchased.
• Generate PO & related correspondences.
• Work closely with internal departments and external suppliers on purchased items or engaged items.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Education & Qualification

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

• At least minimum 3 years of experience in a Procurement role.

Technical Skills, Professional Knowledge & Competencies

• Proficient in analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, and contract management principles.
• Possess own transport.
