Senior Adjuster Role Summary: We hold a unique position in our markets with a team of experts handling commercial losses and claims across major lines and geographies.

Our team comprises chartered loss adjusters, engineers, surveyors, insurance practitioners, arbitrators, mediators, lawyers, and chartered accountants, delivering complex, high-value case solutions.

This position involves investigation, evaluation, and management of property insurance claims, providing a high-quality claims handling service for various insurers.

1. Perform a loss adjusting function in respect of new claims and those already handled, including:
2. Receiving new claims instructions
3. Managing claims in a timely, professional manner, and complying with insurers' service KPI
4. Assisting with status updates and report uploads on claim systems
5. Preparing and uploading adjusting reports within the stipulated turnaround time
6. Providing instruction to surveyors, lawyers, and other experts as necessary
7. Assisting with site visits and meetings with Insurers, Brokers, Agents, Claimants, and Insureds
8. Preparing preliminary reports commenting on all aspects of claim, including policy liability, potential loss, and future actions
9. Assisting with calculations and reconciliations in the settlement of claims, and preparation of accurate final reports
10. Preparing monthly claims bordereau, updating on the status of outstanding claims
11. Performing ad hoc duties as requested by Line Manager or Director

Key requirements include:

1. Significant Property and Casualty Loss Adjusting experience, preferably in a senior adjuster or manager position.
2. Enthusiasm for developing, coaching, and mentoring lesser experienced Adjusters.
3. Continued commitment towards self-development and furthering technical expertise and knowledge.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Excellent problem solving and claims management skills at a senior level.
6. Willing to undertake further professional study for adjusting certification if not already attained.
7. Able to travel as required and possess own transport.
