DOO you have what it takes?

What you’ll be working on:

1. Tax Filing/submission: Prepare and file provisional/final corporate tax computations, VAT/GST filings, withholding tax returns, and other statutory obligations, ensuring timely payments and compliance with regulations.
2. Transfer pricing documentation: Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with external advisors and finance teams to meet regulatory requirements.
3. Tax estimation: Calculate estimated tax and develop a schedule for estimated tax payments.
4. Reporting/Planning: Collate information on tax matters for management updates, assist in developing tax strategies, and provide guidance on international tax issues.
5. Leadership: Lead, mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development while staying informed about tax law changes.
6. Tax Audit Involvement: Provide support during tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and schedules and coordinating discussions on tax disputes.
7. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on basic queries and requests in relation to regulatory requirements/tax audits/tax advisory engagements.
8. Process Enhancements: Support the implementation of tax policies, monitor controls, and stay updated on new tax laws and regulations.
9. Ad-hoc Analysis and Reporting: Assist with special projects/initiatives in providing value-added tax services and insight to internal stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

1. Highly Valued Background: Tax firm with International tax exposure is highly preferable.
2. Working Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a professional tax firm.
3. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any professional or finance equivalent. Preferably with certification of CTIM/ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MIA/CIMA or equivalent.
4. Work Environment: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
5. Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
6. Characteristics: Committed, dedicated, self-motivated, and proactive with a strategic and hands-on approach.
7. Skill: Strong technical and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel).
